Neuroscientific painmodulation is a innovative two-day course focusing on pain research and pain-modulation, with citations of well over 300 scientific peer-review articles, the course represents a much needed update to the governing theories, narratives, philosophies and world-view that there are in pain management. The course is my attempt to pass on what I have learned by reading modern pain science, neuroscience, rehabilitation research and critical thinking for (approximately) 8-10 years.

The course is constantly updated as a result of emerging evidence and feedback from course participants but essentially reflects the approach Jo uses everyday in clinical practice to the benefit of patients. The course is designed to be honest, fun and interactive and includes plenty of treatment tips and real-life examples.

Aimed at the frontline practitioner, this three-day course will introduce a systematic approach the assessment of the Upper Limb, and offer options for the management of Upper Limb conditions including exercise-based rehabilitation, manual therapy and discussion around the reasoned use of other therapeutic adjuncts. This course aims to equip the attendee with immediate ‘clinic-ready’ strategies, and to consider the person beyond the pathology.

The course is designed to cut through the confusing and conflicting methods and techniques often promoted to help shoulder problems, and give you an adaptable framework for you to assess and manage everyone from the elite athlete to the couch potatoe.

In deze webinar krijgt u inzicht in het veelvoorkomende fenomeen TMD (temporomandibulaire disfunctie) en de (fysiotherapeutische) behandelmogelijkheden.

In de schouderrevalidatie gaat pathologie van de biceps vaak gepaard met veel pijn en een moeilijke progressie. In vergelijking met de rotator cuff is de biceps veel minder wetenschappelijk onderzocht en dus ook minder gekend. Tijdens deze cursus wordt eerst stilgestaan bij vernieuwende inzichten omtrent de anatomie en functie van de biceps.
